Everything started to fall into place when I got to university. I discovered a world where problem-solving, creativity, and innovation thrived. Joining research competitions was a game-changer—I found myself tackling challenges, crafting new ideas, and building creative solutions that made a real impact. Winning those competitions wasn’t just exciting; it was a clear sign I was doing what I loved and what I’m really good at.That’s when I decided to turn my passion into a real career. I started diving deeper, learning everything I could. I joined boot camps and workshops, focusing on UI/UX design to better understand how to create user-centered experiences. It was the perfect way to combine my technical skills with my creative drive

After completing IBM courses, UI/UX courses on Udemy, and diving into books like Refactoring UI and Don’t Make Me Think, I developed a strong foundation in design. These resources shaped my skills and fueled my confidence to start my journey. I began with an internship at Make Your Miracle (MYM) startup, where I turned knowledge into real-world applications. Shortly after, I took on my first freelance project, creating a landing page for Xeats startup a milestone that truly kickstarted my career as a Product Designer.

My graduation project was an exam proctoring system designed to simplify exam creation for instructors and provide a seamless, user-friendly experience for students. I led the design process from scratch, focusing on creating intuitive interfaces and efficient workflows. I collaborated closely with my front-end developer colleague and other team members, and I also handled all presentations in each phase as we worked in an agile environment, ensuring design and functionality aligned perfectly. We took the project a step further by entering the Dell Technologies regional competition, where we were thrilled to be accepted and received invaluable mentorship from industry experts. Competing against 215 submissions from 11 countries, we advanced to the final phase and proudly secured 7th place—a milestone that validated our hard work and innovation!

During my three-month internship at Paymob, I worked with fintech products for the first time, immersing myself in user research, ideation, prototyping, testing, and iteration. Collaborating with a multinational team enriched the experience, teaching me how to align design with functionality while embracing diverse perspectives. When my manager praised my UX skills, it boosted my confidence and motivated me to grow further. This journey not only strengthened my expertise but also marked a pivotal moment in my career as a product designer.
